Scottish Cashmere Scarves
These scarves have a bit of a journey behind them. I found the cashmere in a small shop in Scotland — the kind you stumble into on a cold, windy day, with wool stacked to the ceiling and the smell of rain still clinging to the door. I packed the fabric home in my suitcase, and once I was back in Minnesota, I finished each piece myself, turning those soft lengths into simple, sturdy yet scarves.
They’re warm without being heavy, brushed soft, and made to be worn the way people actually live in winter — at outdoor markets, in and out of the car, on long walks when the air feels sharp enough to bite. The colors and patterns are classic and unfussy, the kind that work with whatever coat you already own. The edges are unfinished for a rustic frayed look.
Nothing about these is mass-made. They’re just good cashmere with a story: a Scottish beginning, a Minnesota finish, and a whole lot of cold-weather days ahead of them.
Size: 12" x 72" (not including fringe)
Care Instructions:
To keep your scarf looking and feeling its best, hand wash gently in cool water with a mild wool or cashmere soap. Press — don’t wring — out extra water, then lay flat to dry. Give it a light steam if needed. With a little care, cashmere only gets softer with time.
